David Davison is a Director and owner of the actuarial firm, Spence & Partners.
David leads the Public Sector, Charities and Not-for-Profit practice at Spence & Partners heading a team advising 3rd sector bodies on all aspects of pension provision.
David is a regular contributor of articles and commentary in the press, has a popular blog in a leading on-line charity publication, and is much in demand as a speaker at leading events.
David is a Member of the Society of Financial Advisers and a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and was involved in the development of the Chartered Insurance Institute specialist pension qualification, G60, subsequently acting as an examiner and scrutineer.
David entered the pensions industry in 1985 and prior to joining Spence & Partners in 2004 worked in a technical sales role for a major life office.
David has responsibility for Spence & Partners relationships with other professional firms.
We are making donations in 2011 to two charities, Marie Curie Cancer Care who provide end of life care to terminally ill patients, and Children 1st, who are one of Scotland's leading child welfare charities.
