Spence appoints Tom Pook

Spence & Partners (Spence), one of the leading providers of pensions advisory and data services to pensions schemes in the UK, has today announced the appointment of Tom Pook. Tom has joined from his role as Head of Discontinuance at Mercer.

Tom brings significant experience to the Spence team having spent over 19 years working within discontinuance and end-game advisory teams, the last 13 years of which were with JLT and then Mercer.

Reporting to Alan Collins Head of Trustee Advisory Services, Tom will join Spence’s Scheme Terminations Practice and, alongside Julie-Anne Jones, will jointly lead the Specialist Administration and Actuarial Services Panel (SAASP) work awarded to Spence by the PPF.

Commenting on the appointment, Alan Collins, Head of Trustee Advisory Services at Spence, said: “Tom is an excellent hire for our team.
