Angela Stokes

Angela is an experienced pensions professional, working in the consultancy team to provide support on a number of defined benefit pension scheme. Angela has experience of working with a range of individual and corporate trustees. She has particular expertise in trust law and governance matters, as well as in relation to corporate restructurings. Angela is a non-practising Solicitor (Senior Courts of England & Wales) and an Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute (FPMI).

Angela joined Spence in May 2019. Prior to joining Spence, Angela trained and worked as a solicitor specialising in pensions law in a tier 1 ranked team of a global law firm. During her legal career, Angela gained experience advising both trustees and corporate entities while working on a variety of defined contribution and defined benefit pension schemes, ranging from small self-administered DC schemes to a defined benefit industry wide multi-employer scheme with over £40 billion of assets.
