The following information is provided for the purposes of the requirements of the Provision of Services Regulations 2009 (“the 2009 Regulations”). Any other information required by the 2009 Regulations not provided below will be included in the Letter of Engagement and associated Terms and Conditions that are provided at the commencement of any appointment to provide services.

Regulated Services and Registrations
Spence & Partners is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”) to undertake certain regulated financial services, including for designated investment business, under the FCA firm reference number: 195668. The FCA’s website contains a register that will confirm the relevant permissions held by Spence & Partners Limited.
Actuarial services within the company are carried out by members of the United Kingdom’s Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. Work undertaken by actuaries is subject to Technical Actuarial Standards issued by the Financial Reporting Council.
Spence & Partners Limited is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office as a data controller under registration number Z5494729. It is also registered and authorised by Access Northern Ireland to apply for criminal record information on individuals and is subject to their Code of Practice. Professional Indemnity Insurance
Spence & Partners Limited maintains professional indemnity insurance policies, covering various jurisdictions (including the UK, EU, Channel Islands and Isle of Man). Our primary insurance policy is held with Bluefin Insurance Services Limited (t/a Epic Underwriting) of 5 Old Broad Street, London, EC2N 1AD. Full details of our professional indemnity and liability insurance coverage are available on request and upon any appointment to provide services.
Quality of Service
If a client is not satisfied with any service provided by Spence & Partners Limited, we encourage any complaints or concerns to be raised with the member of staff appointed as the client manager. Spence & Partners Limited will always aim to resolve any such concerns, but if for any reason a client’s complaint is not addressed, it can be taken up with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (in relation to actuarial services), the FCA (in relation to regulated services), the Pensions Ombudsman (in relation to pension administration services) or the Information Commissioner (in relation to any data protection concerns).
