Public sector pension schemes (including LGPS)

Many charities are admitted bodies to LGPS. For many, participation can be challenging. We have experience working across the UK and can bring best practice from a variety of funds to the table.

We have considerable experience communicating what can often be difficult and emotive subjects to Boards and staff. We can also provide support for charities on public procurement exercises involving LGPS pensions.

We have worked extensively with organisations in unfunded public sector pension schemes such as the Teachers Pension Scheme, Civil Service Pension Scheme and the NHS Pension Scheme.

Practice Head, David Davison, is a member of the ICAS Pensions Committee and worked with them to drive Regulatory change in Scotland. He has also worked on DWP and Westminster committees to influence change. As part of his work with the PLSA, David is a co-author for their LGPS Guides.
