Getting Your Scheme Pensions Dashboards Ready

The government requires all relevant pension schemes (any scheme with 100 or more deferred and active members)
to connect to Pensions Dashboards. For many schemes, getting Pensions Dashboards ready will be a big job.

How will it work?

In line with the staging timetable, all qualifying UK schemes will need to connect to the Pensions Dashboards infrastructure.

This means having digitised records with data good enough to:

  • Find the member.
  • Calculate an accurate Estimated Retirement Income (ERI).
  • Return the relevant member information, including the ERI value.
  • Adhere to stringent dashboard security measures.

Although the strict legal requirement is to connect by 31 October 2026, DWP and TPR are very keen for schemes to connect in line with their individual staging dates.

Planning Your Transition

The Regulator is taking a strong stance with trustees on achieving Dashboards staging dates. Spence is able to take on schemes and commit to get schemes ready and connected on time.
