The International Standard on Assurance Engagements (“ISAE”) 3402, Assurance Reports on Controls at a
Service Organisation, was issued in December 2009 by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards
Board (“IAASB”), which is part of the International Federation of Accountants (“IFAC”). The ISAE 3402 provides an international assurance standard to allow public accountants to issue a report on the controls of a service organisation that are likely to impact, or be a part of, a user organisation’s system of internal controls over financial reporting.
The report is an independently audited demonstration of how we meet the standard set out by the Institute of Chartered Accounts in England and Wales (ICAEW). We are pleased that the result of the audit was that ‘no exceptions’ were found, which we feel is an excellent achievement.
